Volunteer Spotlight With plans to become a physician, Amer had been volunteering at a hospital and working with nurses to help take care of patients. The pandemic changed that. While he's still studying pre-med at UCR, he now volunteers with FARSB to provide food assistance to people in his community. Thank you, Amer for continuing to make volunteering part of your routine. With the recommendation from his daughter, Jose began to volunteer at the FARSB warehouse. Since then, he's made it his duty to help in the warehouse 2-3 days per week, where he provides quality control support to the sorting department.
