We are in search of 2 highly skilled Professional Pet Groomer Stylists We are currently seeking an experienced pet groomer in our newly remodeled pet grooming salon located in Benicia, CA (30 miles NE of San Francisco). We are also seeking a pet groomer for our mobile grooming van that services Benicia, Vallejo, American Canyon and Fairfield. We are seeking a pet groomer with the following: Minimum 3 years experience grooming pets... Excellent customer service skills Must have own tools/equipment - (clippers, scissors, blades, etc) Be able to work Saturday and evenings until 5 p.m. Knowledge of basic pet anatomy, proper bathing & drying technique and skin care Knowledge of AKC standard breed cuts Able to groom large breeds Able to groom cats a plus Creative pet grooming skills such as coloring a plus Self starter - able to work with minimal supervision Trained pet CPR/First Aid Clean DMV record and experience working in a mobile pet grooming van for mobile pet groomer position. Will be expected to groom pets from start to finish - (bathing, drying, nail trims, styling, & finishing touches). Our salon features hydraulic grooming tables, Forever Stainless grooming tubs with Hydro Surge bathing systems, and clipper vacuum systems. We provide all products including shampoos, conditioners, ear cleaners, sharpening of tools, bows, bandanas, etc. Compensation depends on experience. Puppy’s first groom! We are often asked when to begin professional grooming for puppies. It’s best to start after all puppy vaccinations are complete around 4 months old. You can help your new pup get used to visiting the groomer and the vet by getting him/her accustomed to having their feet, ears and tail touched.
