Fitness and Sports Science Trial Class This class will be interactive and movement-based, meaning that students will engage in instructor-led physical activities to learn how to move their bodies to promote health, fitness, and strength! The goals of this class are to help students learn HOW to exercise and be active, even if they’re stuck at home! WHY exercise is important and how the body responds to exercise... These stories help to develop self-esteem, encourage anti-bully and upstanding behaviors, and promote honesty and integrity. They also teach kids some practical techniques on how to deal with teases and put-downs from bullies at school or in life. The class teachers will include an adult trainer and 2 youth volunteers.
