I saw the confused looks on their faces and tried the best I could to answer their questions. Ever since it started I have been thinking about what exactly I should tell them. This is after all their country and they will inherit whatever we leave them. What happened yesterday was wrong, and I hope for so much better for my children’s future. I hope that they can r...ise above what they are seeing and show people a better way to live. A way of life rooted in the love and compassion of Jesus of Nazareth. I think the words to this song by Rich Mullins sum up what I really want to say to my kids right now. I love you both so much, and know that as you let mercy lead you into the future you will get knocked down, but your mom and I will be right there to help you get up and keep going. See more
