A big THANK YOU to the walkers and to everyone who support them! The 2015 CWS CROP walk was a big success. The rain held off 'till we were all done, and there was a good turnout from the community.

Reminder: tomorrow is the Church World Services' CROP walk in Glendale.... if you haven't already supported one of our walkers, you still have time :) See Susan Collins, John Greenwall, Hannah Jones or Eula Warren at fellowship time following the service on Sunday.

This Wednesday, February 18th, is the beginning of Lent. Join us as we visit the Ash Wednesday joint service at San Marino UCC, 2560 Huntington Dr., San Marino 91108. Supper at 6 pm, service at 7 pm.

This Sunday evening, Feb. 8th, 6:00 pm at the Los Angeles Filipino American UCC: Pastor Rudolph will be one of the panelists for a conversation on "Race, Politics and Immigration" :

Sunday, January 11th we will have a visiting pastor, filling in for Rudolph who is out of town. The Rev. Timothy Murphy, PhD., Executive Director of Progressive Christians Uniting. The subject of his sermon is "Climate Justice as a Christian calling" -- 'hope to see y'all there!

Third Sunday in Advent - and a joyful Christmas play by/with the FCC Glendale kids (with a little help from some of the growups). Thank you to everyone who helped and to everyone who came to participate.

Come this Sunday, when we'll light the Third candle of Advent (Joy) and then the FCCGlendale kids are going to perform a special Christmas play (with a little help from some grown up friends)!

Greening of the church! This Saturday, meet at 9 am to help decorate and prepare our worship space for Christmas. Then join us Sunday for the lighting of the second candle of Advent: Peace.
