Well friends, the thing we have feared and have tried so hard to avoid is happening; we are going to have to cancel camp. Considering the newest regulations and the way things are headed in our state and particularly in the county where camp is being held, we feel it will just be too cumbersome to try to adhere to the standards set forth by the health department. Also, and even more frankly it would not be anything like the camp that we know and love. Aside from the logistics..., we feel there is at least a minor risk and while most of you were willing to take that risk, Matt and I feel that we just could not live with it if someone got COVID from coming to camp. We are so very sad and incredibly disappointed that we are forced to make this decision. To those who would have enjoyed your last year at camp this year, we want to invite you to come back to camp in 2021. We will do our best to make your last year as wonderful as we can next year. Stay tuned for updates of things we might be able to do either virtually or in person for a day so we can at least see each other’s faces.
