Today is the one year anniversary of the deaths of Captain Figueroa and Firefighter Jones. We continue to mourn their loss and stand with our brothers and sisters at Porterville Fire as they move forward everyday to honor these brave men.

A City of Kingsburg Fire Department Captain was the victim of a hit and run yesterday. Authorities need help identifying the vehicle suspected of being involved in this incident.

On Veteran's Day, we thank the past and present citizens that have served our nation and community in the service of the United States military. Thank you for keeping us safe.

Two OCFA Firefighters severely burned in the #silveradofire near Irvine.

James Parr, Chief of the Pine Ridge Fire Department, looks out over what used to be his house. He says of the entire department, only 3 firefighters’ homes are ...still standing. A firefighter with Shaver Lake VFD lost his home too. Both Departments had tons of equipment burn, and can’t afford to replace it. I’ll post a link where you can help in the comments
