Tomorrow, Easter Sunday, we open St. Benedict Church for in-person worship. We will have Masses at 8:30 AM and 11:00 AM, adhering to masking, social distancing and other health precautions established by the CDC, Alameda County Department of Health and the Diocese of Oakland. Alameda County’s Orange Tier category means that we can have up to 50% seating capacity for the church, which is about 200 persons. The church seating is organized in such a fashion that enables social distancing. I am grateful for all those who came today to help prepare the church for tomorrow’s celebration. The church, both inside and out, looks great, thanks to their dedicated work and ministry! We will also have the YouTube/Facebook Mass for your convenience, for those who feel more comfortable with that option. We will continue providing for a recorded Mass for the time being.
