"My transition from infertility to pregnancy felt very confusing, and no one seemed to be talking about it... " The goal for fertility treatment is often tied to pregnancy as the "end result." But one of the biggest challenges that comes with fertility treatment is that it bears little to no regard for the profound grief and the multitude of oscillating emotions that many mothers-to-be cope with during pregnancy after infertility.... It's completely natural to feel "stuck" between holding the weight of your fertility challenged identity and the simultaneous transition to your identity as a mother. That's why we created our "Pregnancy After Infertility Group" - to create a supportive community and a place to feel seen and heard by a group of people who "get it." To learn more about our group, visit our page https://www.familytreewellness.org/pregnancy-after-infertil.

Disturbed by the rise in xenophobia and anti-Asian racism during this global health crisis, we at Family Tree Wellness reassert that we stand with the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community now and always. We are deeply saddened and horrified by the events that have taken place, even in our own backyards. Our hearts go out to the families and friends of those who have lost their loved ones. At Family Tree Wellness, we are committed to making our practice and our com...munity safe and welcoming for everyone. We assume this responsibility by staying abreast of current events, committing to policies and procedures that are anti-racist, and doing our own internal, anti-racist work. We will continue our mission of creating and offering programs that prioritize the perinatal mental health needs of Black, Indigenous, and persons of color and their families. To our AAPI family - we see you, we hear you, we love you, and we stand in solidarity with you.
