No more permits, no more displacement, finally full-fledged district residents and community members! We need your help to get the word out. Tell your neighbors: 1. We need a majority (51%) to pass the measure - that's approximately 450 YES votes. 2. Only choice block residents can vote on this measure. 3. A majority YES vote will go into effect in July 2021. 4. This is the final step to get our kids into WUSD permanently. 5. Wiseburn Unified School District fully supports our transfer! 6. We are small but mighty!! Let's finish our transfer in 2021! Important Announcement To Property Owners: There are a couple very important propositions on Novembers ballot that could severely affect property owners. Prop 10: If passed, could expand rent control to areas that currently aren't affected by it. If you own rental property, it could put heavy restrictions on how you operate/manage your property, as well as what you can ask for rent. Prop 5: Especially important to property owners over 55 who could benefit greatly by allowing them to sell their properties and purchase another while keeping their low property tax basis. This could potentially indirectly benefit everyone, as it could mean a lot more property changing hands. Conclusion: I'm not asking anyone to take one side or the other, or to vote one way or the other.
