Artist Spotlight: Christine Nicholson (Aemelia) Christine just finished directing Much Ado About Nothing for City Theatre on Zoom. During the pandemic, she's been learning ukulele and continuing to play accordion. She's been working on a set of paintings that are a reflection of her time in quarantine. She is playing Aemelia, the Abbess. This is the third time she's been in this play - once as Adriana, once as Antopholus of Syracuse, and now as the Abbess. And she is thrilled... to be part of this new art form that is the online theatre production. And to get the chance to work with her colleagues again and on a cartoon set! In the past, she directed Cloud Nine here at FLC, and played Penny in You Can’t Take It With You." Her favorite roles are title roles in King Lear and Macbeth, Martha in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Rosalind in As You Like It, all the various roles in Woody Guthrie’s American Song, anything in a panto. Her dream role is the title role in Coriolanus, Brutus in Julius Caesar, Professor Trelawny in Harry Potter." Her future plans are to return to live theatre! See more

Artist Spotlight: Angelina McClung (Luciana) Angelina is playing Luciana, who is Adriana’s somewhat prissy yet supportive younger sister. Anywhere you find Adriana, you will find Luciana. This will be Angelina’s first play at Falcon’s Eye Theatre, which also happens to be her first online play and her first Shakespearean play as well! She has been in a few melodramas at Roseville Theatre Arts Academy before this. Her dream role is to play Poison Ivy from DC Comics because sh...e highly relates to her (outside the killing part). Angelina has auburn hair and many houseplants whom she gives names to! She considers her sweet succulents to be her children! Angelina will be transferring to UC Davis in the fall of 2021 as a Theatre Arts Major. Her dream job is to become a professional actor (for the stage and/or film she loves both). She is interested in many other aspects of theatre as well, including costumes and stage makeup, so she could see working in different professions as long as it is related to theatre and involves enthusiastic interactions with others. Artist Spotlight: Kyle Missman (Antipholus of Syracuse and Ephesus) Kyle is a young performer, and is sharing his first ever Shakespeare show with Falcon's Eye Theatre. He plays both Antipholus twins who are two young men who get caught up in a hodgepodge of errors that arise from nonsensical circumstances. The Comedy of Errors is full of ridiculous chaos, ridiculous circumstances, and ridiculous fun! Something fun about Kyle is that he is ridiculously bad at bowling, and his... peak will always be when he bowled a 2mph strike at age 7. This is Kyle's first performing production for the Falcon’s Eye, and his first performing lead, (His first being the cancelled Spring production of Pippin, in which he played as Pippin) however you may have seen him as Pulitzer in Newsies! at Folsom High School or as Oliver Rivers in Puffs at Sutter Street Theatre. Outside of theatre, Kyle is often found singing in the car while dashing for Doordash, playing Minecraft with his pals, or studying acting technique and the history of Shakespeare, and Commedia Del' Arte. Other than Pippin, some huge dream roles for Kyle are Seymour from Little Shop of Horrors, Moritz from Spring Awakening, and Pierre from Great Comet of 1812. Kyle hopes to make a career out of acting, and live a life full of what makes him happiest, making people laugh. He hopes to see you at Comedy of Errors, and he hopes you enjoy the show! See more

Artist Spotlight: Bert Andersson (Dromio of Suracuse and Dromio of Ephesus) Bert returns to Falcon’s Eye Theatre, this time portraying the dynamic two Dromios. Many would be satisfied with playing but one Dromio, but Bert more covetous, would have both of them. He is of course most grateful to David Harris, Ian Wallace, Rebecca Redmond, Cameron Hoyt, and, yay, even Carlos Llontop for their support and the opportunity to play the fool. Having acted in college, Bert returned ...to the stage in 2012. Since then he has performed in many plays in the greater Sacramento area. You may have caught a glimpse of him in Falcon’s Eye’s, Hot l Baltimore, Alice in Wonderland, Macbeth, You Can’t Take It With You, and Rhinoceros. In his non-thespian time, Bert is an attorney with the State of California, and lives in Folsom with his wife, Amy, a son, and a dog.

Artist Spotlight: Fiona Lawler (Courtesan) Fiona plays the role of the Courtesan who, just like many other characters in the play, mistakes one twin for the other. Fiona has been playing the violin since the age of five and participated together with her younger sister in a youth orchestra in Germany. This is her first play at Falcon’s Eye Theater. Two favorite roles she has played are Lukretia von Herrschershausen from a German play Murderers Like It Razor Sharp by Christ...ine Steinwasser and Beatrice from Much Ado About Nothing by Shakespeare. The temperament of these characters are very similar and Fiona enjoyed playing these roles as they are very unlike her real character. Her plans for the future are to continue acting and auditioning for plays as well as becoming a high school teacher.
