In this past week’s message, Pastor Ron Perry took us back into the Christmas narrative in Luke 1 with a look at Zachariah and Elizabeth and Zachariah’s momentary lapse in belief. Even spiritually mature people struggle at times with lapses in belief. Thankfully God is still faithful to perform His will despite our lack of faith to trust Him. When we struggle with unbelief, we need to repent and choose to believe God and to praise Him for His faithfulness. https://faithbaptistfolsom.sermon.net/21712990

"How do we handle what can sometimes be the mundane or depressing routine of life? Might I suggest that, in the midst of the ordinary, we look at the extraordinary that God has provided? What could be more extraordinary than the miracle of Christmas? The miracle of a virgin giving birth to God in the fleshthe Incarnation." http://folsom.church/blog-posts/2020/12/28/the-incarnation

In this past week's message we celebrated the birth of our Savior with a message from Pastor Ron Perry on the true reason for the season of Christmas. Jesus, God's Son, came into the world to save sinners. Only by believing on Him can we be forgiven of our sins and know that we have eternal life. https://faithbaptistfolsom.sermon.net/main/SunSrvcs/21712731

In this past Sunday's message, Pastor Ron Perry continued our brief series on making good decisions with a third and fourth question for us to consider when weighing our decisions. First we considered the question, "In the absence of knowing what is definitively right or wrong, what is spiritually best?" Where the Bible does not definitively tell us what is the morally right or wrong thing to do, we need to prioritize which of our choices would be best for us spiritually. Sec...ond, we considered the question, "Are spiritual and eternal things most important to me?" We see from Paul's example in II Corinthians 4 that he continued enduring even in suffering because he valued the eternal far more than the temporal. We can find grace to not quit when we keep our eyes on the eternal and the spiritual. https://faithbaptistfolsom.sermon.net/main/SunSrvcs/21709171
