Join Faith Lutheran Church for a Holiday Shopping Fundraiser on Monday, November 14th 6pm - 8pm We will have consultants from PartyLite Candles, Cookie Lee Jewelry, Cash for Gold, Pampered Chef Cookware, Thirty One Products (Purses), Tika Moon Photography, and Tastefully Simple foods selling items that will be perfect for the Holidays. All of the consultants will be donating a portion of the sales received back to our church.... Bring in your un wanted jewelry gold or silver and Cash for Gold will give you money for your items. You can bring it in and get an offer for agreeing to sell the items. Just think extra money for Christmas shopping! If you can’t make the event you can visit the office where Shannon has catalogs from each of the vendors.

Looking forward . . . October 30th, we'll be celebrating Reformation Sunday to highlight the heritage that we share in the Lutheran Church. Luther began by nailing his business to the church door, the least we can do is remember what he brought to us. Red is the traditional color for Reformation Sunday, so wear your Rrrrrrreformation Rrrrrrrred! November 6th, we will be celebrating (?) All Saints Sunday. More of our brothers and sisters have claimed the promise of their bap...tism this year than in any year since my coming to Faith Lutheran and we will be celebrating their passing into the blessed rest. Please let me know if you would like someone brought to remembrance in particular, if you would like to buy an additional flower or have a candle placed upon the altar in remembrance of their lives and celebration of their salvation. November 20th, we will be celebrating Christ the King Sunday with a worship largely run by the church youth. Helen is teaching Sunday School on the 13th so that she can teach the kids their parts in the service so try and make sure that you are there on the 13th and the 20th! Other goings on . . . We have a few hours work to do on the roof at church and we will be getting together at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday to work on the roof over the Northeast door of the church and prepping the roof over the Sacristy for further work next week. Come and lend a hand, many hand will make light work!
