We are looking forward to seeing you at Back to School Night on Wednesday, September 18th, starting at 6:00. The Book Fair will be going on and the teachers will present at 6:20 and 6:55 twice in case you have more than one child at our school. We will wrap up by 7:30. Thursday, September 19, is a minimum day. Tuesday, September 24, through Friday, September 27, will be minimum days where you can sign up with your teachers to have your child tested for their reading levels.... The first PTA meeting is Wednesday, September 19 from 6:00-7:00pm in the Fairview Library (see attached flyer). Light refreshments will be served. Please attend this first meeting and share your ideas! We do need a PTA treasurer, so if you are interested in this position, please let us know. **Scholastic Book Fair will be at Fairview from September 24-28! **... Ms. Schmitz, Book Fair Chairman, is seeking dedicated volunteers to help during upper and lower grade recess and lunch or after school that week. Volunteers can choose one free book per day for assisting during a selected time slot. Sign-up sheets will be available soon. We've had a few people wondering about the release time for the first week of school. It is all normal schedule at 2:50, except Wednesday which still gets out at 1:25. The exception is Kindergarten, which gets out at 12:20 all week for minimum days.

Welcome to the 2018-2019 school year! Before school starts, everyone (including returning students) needs to register, complete paperwork, and get their class assignments. The procedure is: Pick up packets Monday, August 13 or Tuesday, August 14 from 8-4. Return completed packets Wednesday, August 15 from 10-1 or 3-6, or Thursday, August 16 from 12-4.
