Fair Oaks EcoHousing

I'm delighted to announce that as of noon today the historic Winding Way Bridge at Chicago Ave has reopened. Some signs are still up, but the barricades are go...ne and traffic is flowing. The original bridge was built about 1910 to link up east Fair Oaks with the village. It was rebuilt/reinforced several times over the years including adding a pedestrian walkway. The photos (I never know the order Facebook will show them) are 1911, 1980, 2011, and 2020, all looking west to east.

I think we've got it done, and we'll be putting a web ver...sion up, then a CD version, and finally a printed version.
