COVID19 notification for your safety Based upon multiple advisories from the government and medical experts our office will be limiting normal access to the clinic in order to create a safe environment for all. Safety of our patients, staff and the community are paramount in all of us cooperating to end this pandemic.... Do not come to the clinic if you have any symptoms such as shortness of breath, fever or coughing. Call our office or your primary care doctor for advice. We have reduced the number of appointments and extended our hours to avoid crowding. Eye emergencies are considered priority and may include significant eye pain, injuries or recent and dramatic vision loss. You can speak to the staff regarding your eye conditions who can advise you on the best course of action or can schedule a telemedicine appointment with an ophthalmologist. We request only the patient come into the clinic with exceptions for personal or interpretative assistance. We ask that patients wear a mask into the clinic. Please arrive at your scheduled time. If you are early, wait in your car. If you are running late please contact our office to see if we can still accommodate. Office surfaces and seating will be disinfected between patients. Our staff and doctors will be wearing masks when patients are present. Eye Site Sacramento will have extended business hours from 7:00am 6:00pm to accommodate our patients needs. For safety reasons will not accept walk-ins. We greatly appreciate your attention to the following information: Due to concern over community spread of COVID-19 (CORONA VIRUS) infection, we are unable to allow office visits for individuals with ANY flu-like symptoms including: ... 1. Cough 2. Fever 3. Body aches/chills 4. Upper respiratory infection symptoms of any kind We also request that you do not bring extra people into the office unless absolutely necessary -- this includes children. We understand this may be frustrating, but our office serves many elderly patients and we are exercising utmost caution at this time. If you need to be rescheduled, we will do our very best to accommodate you in a timely manner. If you are scheduled for a routine visit and wish to reschedule for a later date to avoid visiting our office, we welcome you to do so. We are NOT able to test for COVID19 in our office.
