As we all know, the way weddings and elopements are planned and hosted have changed dramatically over the past five or six months. Some of our wedding couples have opted to reschedule their nuptials to 2021 and 2022 dates, in the hope that they'll be able to hold their celebrations in the way they originally envisioned them. Others, like this sweet international couple, have opted to let go of their original plans for a big wedding in favor of an elopement or wedding with a v...ery small number of guests. I am so happy that Sarah and Maysam discovered my work on Wedding Wire, and contacted me to capture their stunningly beautiful elopement, here on the California coast! The best made plans sometimes must be changed and weddings in these times of COVID-19 are no exception. This Saturday, April 18, 2020, would have been a joyful celebration of love and families coming together as one, at the lovely Hollins House, here in Santa Cruz. Fortunately, this couple has successfully rescheduled to a new date, a year from now at the same venue and with most of their originally-selected vendors. Nevertheless, when this Saturday rolls around it will undoubtedly be hard on them. If you know couples who have had to reschedule or indefinitely postpone their nuptials, be sure to reach out to them and offer your best wishes and moral support.
