Each year on this day we build an altar of praise; the day Doctors told us our baby had no chance of living: diagnosis fetal hydrops, cyst, and Down Syndrome. "Induce labor and you can rock him until he dies, my doctor counseled. No. We replied, The Lord gives, the Lord takes away-we will bless the name of the Lord" We testify God's promises are true. He sustains us, strengthens the weary, His grace is sufficient to live what He has willed! Have you laughed, been touched by or teared up through this young man?! The value of life is much more than any diagnosis at any stage

Yes, routines have changed for us all. As I am reminded of this scene one year ago, I’m reminded to instill a renewed hope and purpose in my son’s day. May we look to the God of all hope. This is the day the Lord has made, we WILL rejoice and be GLAD in it!
