During a structural inspection for drywood termites, our inspector found feeding damage, shed wings and fecal pellets in various areas of the above structure. Our licensed inspector then filed a wood destroying organism report (WDO) with the State of California and recommended a fumigation or spot treatment of the structure as a means to mitigate the current drywood termite infestation. With employees working from home, our customer decided to take full advantage in order t...o protect his investment. A fumigation was scheduled, preparations were made and the structure was treated for drywood termites. During normal circumstances, fumigation of a commercial property may be difficult to complete. This treatment option requires a complete shut down of the facility while treatment is rendered and disrupts the day to day operations of a business. Fortunately, the pandemic provided our customer the flexibility to properly treat his structure. Do you suspect to have a termite infestation?
