In the hours leading up to the interview, I felt the excitement rushing through me (link at the end of the post and in the comment). After all, it's not an ever...yday occurrence to be interviewed by the fabulous Jessica Abo from Entrepreneur So I started overthinking things... What shirt should I wear? Should I shave? What's the best background for a Zoom interview? But then suddenly I realized that what I say is far more important. I called Yam Regev and we prepared a storyboard + messaging box document to help tell our Exceed.ai story and guide me through the interview and help me stay on message. Every executive, when preparing for an interview, should create a document with these two items in it. Why? Here’s why! The Storyboard is designed to make sure you tell your Vision-->Mission-->Solution in aligned with your target audience. And a Message Box helps to keep track of memorable words and terms you must say during the interview. Yes, I got sweaty, and yes, I got excited and yes I shaved and yes I wore a buttoned shirt and.... yes felt my message came through.
