Again, I will not or can not refer former clients to grooming facilities that do not meet industry standards or have the ability to do professional work. I have done business in three counties over the time of grooming, was Certificated to do All Breeds(trained by a Master Scissor Artist and apprenticed with her) operated three different personal facilities, as well as work for the Master who trained me. Belonged to several professional organizations and approved by BBB. Had great reviews on Yelp and Google, and had years of the same clients follow me to the different locations I operated. I have a pretty good idea what a professional is. So if I haven't given a referral for a local shop, there is probably a really good reason. Please do your own backgrounds on a groomer and their facility before you use them.

It's come to my attention that finding qualified groomers is a problem. However I can't stress enough the importance of using groomers with certifications, clean secure inside facilities ( safely contain your pet, sanitary so no parasites, skin diseases being spread it should never look messy or smell, your pet can't escape to the roads), experienced with all breeds, and if grooming cats, knowing their special needs, and how fragile their skin can be(small nicks become huge holes requiring stitches). We all want to save money, but with our loved pets, cutting corners, You can get what you pay for, and your loved pet may suffer for it.
