November 19, 2020 Dear Saints at Evangelical Free Church of Oroville, Greetings! In light of recent developments, here is an update for this weekend’s events. We are having our in-person service as usual this Sunday at 9am. It will also be live-streamed on our church YouTube page (EFC Oroville). Immediately after the service, we will be having a reception to honor Joel and Virginia Cook for their years of service at EFC and to give them a friendly send-off to their new home i...n Pennsylvania. On Sunday afternoon, at 4 pm, we will have Praise and Pies, a celebration of Thanksgiving. This will be a time of giving thanks, sharing testimonies of God’s faithfulness, hymn singing, and, of course, eating pie together. I hope you can make it to these events on Sunday. In order to accommodate the current situation in our region concerning Covid-19, we will use the following protocols: o Please check your temperature before coming to church. If you have even a slight fever, please stay home and join us online. o Please wear a mask as you enter and leave the building and every time you are in movement within the building. Please bring your own mask, but if you forget, we will have some available at the church. o Sanitize your hands upon entering the building and regularly while you are within the building. o Consider using elbow or fist bumps instead of handshakes as you greet one another. o If you are not feeling well, please stay home until you are better. o Use responsibly your Christian freedom and practice Christian responsibility at all times. Thank you for your understanding. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible on Sunday, hopefully even more than once! In the meantime, please join me in praying for God’s wisdom and guidance as we move through yet another change in the challenge of Covid-19. Peace and grace to you all in Christ, Pr. Gregg Hensel
