Our native trees and shrubs have arrived from @treeoflifenursery and we couldn't be more excited to get a few in before the first rains of the season! We are regenerating this once vacant lot with plants native to San Diego. We trust that promoting biodiversity on the land will help us strike a balance with nature. We want more hiding spots for our predators to hunt pests and we want to feed our native pollinators. We see it as a win-win-win! A big thank you to @theecologycenter for making this happen with funding through @nrcs_california

Over 350 pumpkins diverted from landfills? We think that was a ‘smashing’ success! Thank you @BCKPrograms and @cityofencinitas for hosting! @eusdfarmlab and @theecologycenter were thrilled to be a drop off and compost location!
