Lord God to whom we flee in every need, we humbly thank you for your response to our prayers as events unfolded on September 11, 2001. You have continued to car...e for and deliver us from every enemy. On this anniversary, dry the tears of all who mourn and comfort them with the hope we have because Jesus has triumphed over evil and death. In this new era of fear and turmoil we ask you to keep Satan from reaping a harvest from the seeds of hatred and discord he has planted. Kindle a strong trust in you while we carry our crosses. Unite us in the confession of the Christian faith. Help us live in love and forgiveness toward our neighbors, that the world may see that we are your followers. Finally, turn all eyes to our Savior who lives and rules with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen See more
