Unfortunately, Insurance for many is still on the clock to run out on December 31st, with no rollover of benefits to next year. We want everyone to know we are here for you. To our amazing patients, As you know we made the right decision to temporarily close our doors in an effort to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. Your health and safety has always been, and will always be, our top priority. Even though words can’t describe how hard it was for us to turn the key and lock the doors on the practice, we knew that it was the right thing to do for you and for our team members. As many of you may have seen on the news, Sacramento county announced... that the stay at home order has been extended till May 22. In the same announcement it included that dental services would be considered an essential activity that would now be allowable. However currently the California Public Health and the California Dental Association is advising dentists to stay closed (except emergencies) and wait until more specific guidelines are released. Therefore we have decided to wait for the details in order to ensure a safe reopening for our patients. As you already know we are still available to answer the phone and treat any true emergencies as needed. Dr. Skelton is available daily to answer your questions or concerns by telephone or even video conferencing. Until then we have been working very diligently to get the proper protocols, infection control supplies, and training for our team to prepare for reopening. We have some very exciting news to share once we send an announcement of our official reopen date. Until then we are very grateful for your loyalty and patience. We hope you are all staying safe and maybe even enjoying the time at home with your family. These are definitely unique times, but hopefully we can all find a little bit of light during this time with our loved ones. We wanted to give you some information about where we are here at Esthetic Reflections in Dentistry, in terms of helping you with your dental care: At this time our plan is to open again on Monday, May 4th, and we encourage you to schedule appointments from the... that date onward. We are grateful for your patience during this time as things change daily. We will keep you updated of this. Note that appointments will fill up quickly, as many people have delayed treatments in March and April. Please call us with your ideal time as soon as possible, and we can always adjust later if needed. We ARE still answering the phones and AVAILABLE for emergencies. Monday through Thursday, 8am to 3pm. If you have a true dental emergency, we will treat it during our limited open hours. TELEDENTISTRY: We are able to offer some select appointments via teledentistry (digital/online dentistry), especially for new patients. So if you have a friend or loved one with a dental concern, please have them contact us. To Our Patients, The California Dental Association has recommended that dentists practicing in California suspend non essential and non urgent dental care for the next 14 days. In light of this, we will be reaching out to you to reschedule your appointment to a later date. However, we that there are emergency dental needs that healthy patients need addressed without exposure to large crowds (such as the emergency room). As of today, we will remain available to receive phone c...alls and will determine if emergency dental treatment is indicated. We will be continuing to follow strict infection control protocols and make changes to even tighten up those measures. For all patients, we ask that if you fall under any of the following criteria to call or text us to reschedule your appointment: Showing any of the symptoms related to the flu, common cold, or novel coronavirus (Covid19). Or have had symptoms in the last 14 days. Anybody with underlying health conditions that may have lower immune systems. Such as patients over 60, heart trouble history, diabetic, pregnancy, etc. If you have recently traveled to a high risk area or have been in physical contact with someone showing symptoms.
