Thuttocks, second seat, underbutt - whatever you want to call it, the place where our thighs meet our glutes can be one of the most challenging places to find and engage. Once you do find it, it’s a magical thing. If you tend to hyper-extend in the knees, overuse your hip flexors, or have knee joint issues in general, you may be underusing those muscles under the butt.
