A Memorial Service for John Reth will be held at the Escondido Adventist Church, Sabbath, March 27, at 4 p.m. A reception that follows social distance guidelines will follow the service. At the memorial there will be a basket to put your favorite picture and/or typed memory of John. In the days following the memorial each persons picture/memory will be organized to fit on a 1/2 sheet of 12 x 12 album paper and then put into a beautiful Memory Book that will be given to Michelle. Be sure to put your name on the back of what you are wishing to put in the Memory Book. This is different from the guest book that will be available to sign.

This list isn't exhaustive, nor is it a "Top 7", but we hope it inspires you to share other ideas below. We can't wait to the day when our Sabbaths are no longer marked by separation and distance, can you? See more

We have but one guide.

Escondido Seventh-day Adventist Church 02.11.2020

Have you ever found yourself struggling to trust God? The good news is that God has given us abundant reasons why He's worthy of being trusted. Here are the top... 7 reasons that can encourage you to trust Him with everything! 1. God never made a mistake. There is no one who can compare to God. There is no other being like Him. He has all knowledge, so it only makes sense to trust Him. (Psalm 18:30). 2. It is impossible for God to lie! In a world full of deceptions and half-truths, we can trust God knowing that He would never deceive or trick us Numbers 23:19). 3. God’s knowledge is limitless. It’s humbling when we realize how little we really know in comparison to God. Nothing, however small or unnoticed, is hidden from the mind of God (Isaiah 46:10) 4. God loves you deeply. Even though God created us all, His love and regard for you are so particular, it’s as if no other being lived on this earth. Indeed, He loved you enough to give the best He had: the life of His Son, Jesus. (John 3:16) 5. God knew you before you were born. God knew everything about who you would become before you were even formed in your mother’s womb. And still, God knows you better than you know yourself. (Jeremiah1:5) 6. God is in control. As chaotic as this world may appear, the Bible assures us that God is still in control and that one day He will make everything right (Daniel 2:21). 7. You’ll never regret truly follow God. People from all over the world, and throughout ages can testify from experience, that trusting God was the best decision they ever made (Psalm 34:8)
