Erté Collies

I couldn’t be more excited, or delighted, to announce that, after almost 6 years of being THEE most effective form of collie birth control, Erte collies has a litter on the ground! On March 3, Dancer (aka Tartanside Choreography) gave birth to 7 fat, healthy puppies sired by GCHG Aurealis Endeavour ROM AOMx2 (aka Ryan). The litter consists of 3 tri females, 2 sable females and 2 sables males (all roughs). The breeding goes back to the CH Southland Bowen Island ROM x CH ...Tartanside Foolproof ROM breeding 3x in 4 generations, so I'm hoping they will be extra-special. None of this could have happened without the support and guidance of John Buddie. Taking pity on my sad plight of years-long reproductive issues, he selected a beautiful sable bitch puppy for me in 2018 and allowed her to come live with me. She is an absolute delight to have around and, as it turns out, is a phenomenal mother. I couldn’t be happier with John’s choice and am beyond grateful for the opportunity. Thank you also to Dancer’s co-breeder, Pamela Walters. The other person I would like to thank for their part in making this happen is Deb Falk from Aurealis Collies. We got off to a bit of a bumpy start, but the end result was well worth it! Her patience, and persistence, regarding this breeding, as well as her guidance and advice, have been greatly appreciated. 2-weeks old litter photo attached, as well pedigrees.
