Something that is not always understood is that we are each responsible for our own orgasms. We actually give ourselves our orgasms by relaxing, letting go, receiving and allowing our arousal and release. Our partner's own arousal often facilitates our orgasm. Our partners are witness to it and partners affirm our vulnerability in the moments of the orgasm - eg. la petite mort (the little death in French). Believe it or not, really do not need to have an orgasm for a satisfyi...ng erotic connection. It does feel great, but It's the cherry on the top of a delicious sundae. Let's not dismiss the sundae. When we realize this, it can take the pressure off us to perform or to "give someone an orgasm".
