SAVE THIS POSTTap Here How to do an At Home Facial: The Steps:... 1. Cleanse - Cleanse your skin twice, you can use the same cleanser if you only have one. If you have an active cleanser, like one with glycolic or salicylic acid, use that as your second cleanser. 2. Exfoliate - Use an enzyme exfoliant like @skincarebyalana Pumpkin Brightening Exfoliating Mask. Leave on for 2-7 minutes and remove with a clean face wipes (I use reusable cotton wipes I got from @amazon ) 3. Tone - I like a fresh spritz of a hydrating toner like @skinscriptrx Cucumber Hydration Toner to keep skin hydrated for the next step. 4. Serum - Apply a hydrating serum to your skin, make sure it’s not an active serum like one with retinol, that will come in later 5. Mask - Generously apply a cream or gel based mask to your skin, if you want to use a clay mask only use it on oilier areas of your face like your T-zone. Leave for 10-15 minutes, sheet masks work here too! 6. Tone - Yup! Spritz again! 7. Serum - This is where your active or vitamin loaded serums come in. I love @skinscriptrx Vitamin C Green Tea Serum and @deciem Lactic Acid Serum. I use no more than two serums per facial 8. Eye Cream - If you have one, if you don’t it’s ok just consider investing in one especially in your late twenties as sun damage will start to show up after then 9. Moisturizer - The last step, apply your moisturizer in and upward outward direction, always think anti-aging and gravity defying This is what I do for my skin, especially on special days like today, my birthday you are definitely worth the time, effort and self love to do the same! Note that these are the steps for a once a week or once a month facial, not the steps for your everyday skincare routine, you don’t have to do this much everyday If you have any questions comment below and I’ll do my best to help you make the most of your At Home Facial #begoodtoyourskin
