Wow! What a year it was! If I were to be totally honest here ... I’d say there is a huge part of me that feels so weird toasting to 2020. How could I possibly toast to a year where so many fell ill, so many businesses were destroyed, our nation divided and the worst part so many lost their lives? It’s hard to look back at 2020 and feel gratitude at times ... that’s why I never posted my year in one picture. Something felt wrong. But here is the thing about not only real est...ate but about life in general, there are incredible years and some very flat years, there are some crazy years and some questionable ones too. It’s a rollercoaster ride ... and I’ve been in this business 22 years this year. The years that were slow for me, I never expected the world to not toast to their own businesses that were booming, instead I celebrated those that did. I cheered you on. I was inspired by you. While 2020 was the most uncertain year we have lived through yet and while it feels funny toasting, there is something I have learned - I do need to toast to my success.
