Congratulations to our client Harris Jamil on breaking ground at his new Residential Care Facility, Ramona Senior Gardens. This 68-bed facility took a lot of attention and care from Harris, and we were happy to help during the design and permitting phases to bring his vision to life! Keep up the great work Harris!

We've had the pleasure to work on a multifamily development in Carlsbad and have been using new rendering techniques to clearly express the design to the client; this is our first experiment in producing a quick animation walking along the entrance of the units. We're hoping to incorporate more of these rendering capabilities into our future projects to help with our design process and client feedback!

Ergo Architecture is pleased to welcome Lauren Ballard to our staff! Originally from South Florida, she recently graduated from Auburn University and chose to come to San Diego to stay near the coast and escape the humidity in the southeast. When not in the office, her favorite activities include traveling to new places, being outdoors, and playing water polo.

Ergo Architecture is happy to announce a new addition to the team Sabrina Aguiar. A current student at Woodbury University, Sabrina is a San Diego native with a deep love for the city. In her spare time she enjoys running, roller skating, playing guitar and painting different plants. On the weekends you can also find her enjoying her favorite place in San Diego the Grape Street dog park! We are excited to add such a talented designer to our practice!

We were pleased to see Ergo Architecture's office highlighted in the City of San Diego's Economic Development Department's annual report. Not only is our own project featured, but another project we designed, Red House Pizza, is shown as well. Ergo Architecture has designed for the Storefront Improvement Program for many years and it was great to have the opportunity to be a small-business participant. Congratulations to The Session Room in Ann Arbor! We can't believe that it's been a year since Steve and Dave opened to long lines and critical acclaim. Congratulations to our client Harris Jamil for obtaining a 6-0 Planning Commission vote in favor of his Major Use Permit for Ramona Senior Gardens on Friday! His hard work and perseverance (and perhaps exceptional choice of architect?) have finally been rewarded. The 68-Bed Assisted Living Facility will provide much-needed care as well as employment to his community. Thanks Harris, and keep up the great work!

Congratulations to Ergo staff member Paul Esteban for winning the 2017 Urban Land Institute's Healthy Places Awards Student Competition. The competition challenged teams of graduate and undergraduate students to develop a comprehensive development proposal for a real-world site. bLEND is a proposed development in San Diego that pushes the notion of a transitional neighborhood center with flexible design, live music, and small business enterprises to enhance the already unique and vibrant character of Kearny Mesa. Nice work, Paul!

Ergo Architecture is pleased to announce the recent opening of our new AirBnB rental. Constructed in 1907, the residential portion of our building behind our storefront is a fun mix of historic and contemporary. It's been exciting to watch this historic home come back to life during its loving restoration over the last two years. We're looking forward to new adventures with AirBnB!
