This is an example of how sophisticated today's transmissions are. This valve body, which is the brain of the automatic transmission, has an internal computer which can be water-damaged by a leaky radiator, which will render the vehicle inoperable. This is a very common problem and expensive too. If not diagnosed correctly, it can be even more expensive as most transmission shops will misdiagnose the issue and recommend a full transmission rebuild.
