#bestgifts #optoutside #publicparks #publicaccess #equity #access #playoutside #forthekids #forthepeople What better gift for 2021 could the people of Mari...na, Seaside, Salinas and all of Monterey County receive than a public park ? Because we refused to be intimidated, silent or go away - you will have your public park! Marina's largest public park is its most hidden. The hospital that served the Fort Ord War Horses that were used in the Cavalry and Field Artillery units and the pack mules has remained untouched, obscured by layers of modifications and years of neglect. The time has come for that to change. Our 5013c organization, Fort Ord Equine Foundation, was formed to manage Marina's largest public park and to restore the last and only complete US Army WWII Equine Surgical Hospital in the United States. Our mission is to take what has been hidden for years and give it back to the public. It's about time! We have a list of recreation vendors and a broad, collaborative vision to create a mixed use park. Innovative ideas are the basis of our vision for creating a living museum to serve ALL members of our community with a broad range of programs. Stay tuned for updates..... Note: Part of the ongoing harassment and gaslighting is online trolling. Locals who have publicly stood up for us and/or against the long-term vendor has been slandered, harassed and/vandalized. Consider reaching out and supporting privately.

#horses #nationaldayofthehorse #horsesheal #horsepower #fortheloveofthehorse #horsedoctor #armyveterinarian #CityOfMarina All of us Fort Equine Foundation wish to celebrate National Day of the Horse Horse. The National Day of the Horse is a day to remember all the economic, historic, and cultural contributions that horses have made.... Our organization was founded to celebrate the contribution of the horse and to share all that is wonderful about these beautiful, majestic creatures with our community. It is our vision that EVERY child and adult in Marina and the Monterey Peninsula have access to all that is wonderful about horses.
