Today we are celebrating Amy M. Griffin, MS, PT, ITPT! Amy was born in Las Vegas, NV where she earned her B.S. degree in Sports Injury Management, her M.S. degree in Physical Therapy, and is currently pursuing her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at A.T. Still University, expected April 2020. Amy brings over 20 years of experience to her clinical practice. Amy is a CCMI (Complete Concussion Management, Inc.) certified and ImPACT trained concussion management specialist, a certi...fied specialist in Vestibular Rehabilitation, LSVT BIG for the treatment of Parkinson's disease, the owner of Rock Steady Boxing (RSB) Ventura, a certified Head Coach, and a Part-Time professor and the California State University Northridge (CSUN). In August 2007, Amy went into private practice, opening the first and only comprehensive Vestibular (vertigo/dizziness), Balance, and Concussion Management rehabilitation facility in Ventura County at that time. EQUILIBRIUM Physical Therapy remains the PREMIER clinic and choice of area physicians to date for this area of practice. Recently added to the clinic's services is brain neuro-feedback training in coordination with Brain Performance Centers of California to facilitate the recovery of patients suffering from lasting concussion symptoms. EQUILIBRIUM Physical Therapy is actively involved in Ventura youth sports concussion awareness education and management, and has been an active partner in The Ventura County Senior Fall Prevention Coalition since 2013.
