The East Palo Alto Career Center is helping Facebook recruit for the Sourcer Development Program 2019 The Sourcer Development Program is a 12- month entry-level program for individuals interested in a Sourcing career at Facebook. The program covers a variety of topics designed to train individuals (with no previous recruiting experience) the most effective sourcing techniques and strategies. As a member of the Facebook recruiting team, the contract Sourcer works closely with Facebook Recruiters and hiring managers to develop strategies to find candidates for Facebook. We have a new staff addition to the East Palo Alto Career Center. Glenda Savage, East Palo Alto resident, community activist, educator, pre-school principal, non-profit administrator and massage therapist, will be joining the staff at the East Palo Alto Career Center part-time as our Intake Specialist. Glenda comes to is through a partnership between JobTrain and Senior Service America Inc (SSAI). SSAI hires seniors to work with organizations to provide needed support and to learn new skills. This program is completely subsidized by the Department of Labor. Glenda has deep roots in the community of East Palo Alto and we would like to capitalize on this in our outreach and engagement efforts. Glenda’s first day is March 28th and we are pleased to have Glenda aboard. Welcome Glenda!
