Happy 36th Birthday to My Husband: A Love Letter If 2020 showed us anything it's that as much as we drive each other bonkers we actually really...really like each other. It's in the little things you do like leave the towel I always forget right outside my shower, or how you will be on three hours of sleep and still go help a friend move. Then it's in the big things you do, like when you planned two surprise birthday parties for me. The first surprise was ...found out, so you did it again this year. How you went on Youtube on your own, and studied video after video of how to braid our little girls' hair. Or how you call my Mom or my Sister, just to chat and catch up with them when I'm not there. The little nuances of how you always grab my hand in the car, send me a quick knowing smile when someone's being an ass, grab our son right when you come home if you see the circles around my eyes look particularly deep that day. I love how you take care of yourself, commiting to waking up at 3am just to get a workout in before work. I love how you take care of us, always putting your family first. I love how you take care of other people, always thinking about the little things you can do. I love your ambition and your tenacity and your willingness to grow, always grow. Life Shouldn’t Stop When You Own a Business The truth is that throughout my Photography career, I have very much been intentional about creating a life around my business. But here's a refresher, the first thing I hope you did was celebrate like it was 1999. And now that it's time to focus and hire your team, do you know who you should be reaching out to first?... Your Wedding Planner, your venue and your Photographer. These are the vendors that typically book 12-18 months in advance. So I know it feels like you have all the time in the world, but my word of advice to you is to reach out as soon as possible before they are booked completely. Over at Elizabeth Nwansi, we only accept 10 weddings a year. This is how we deliver such a fantastic client experience.
