You’re going to come out of this a little bit different. You’ve changed. You might not see it but you have. You’re not going to be exactly the same when this i...s truly over. And that’s ok. When we go through something life-changing like this, a global crisis, we metamorphisise. It’s unavoidable. We’ve had time to think, to be alone with our thoughts, like never before. We’ve processed the shock that freedom was never really ours to keep. We’ve endured the pain of everything we hold dear being held just out of grasp. And we have waited, oh how we have waited. Some of us have lost loved ones and those who haven’t have grieved too, collective grief they call it. I have felt it. I know you have too. And we all lost our lives, in a way. You’re going to come out of this a little bit different my friend and that’s ok. When the dust settles, you will shine even more brightly than you used to but take your time. It’s going to take some time. And that’s ok. Waiting is something we now know how to do. the next time you refuse to sing because you’ll never fill a stadium or decline the joy of dance... for fear of looking ridiculous or you resist risking the new adventure because you’re not entirely ready or you dim your shine because you’re not completely healed and whole the next time you hold yourself suspect because you’re not entirely qualified just remember a bird doesn’t sing because it’s talented a bird sings because it has a song the moon doesn’t only shine when it’s whole it can show up with a single sliver of itself and still light an entire night sky show up. sing. shine. the world needs you as you are. Grateful that I stopped being afraid of what could go wrong and got excited about what can go right.Grateful that I stopped being afraid of what could go wrong and got excited about what can go right.

When things are not progressing, and are constantly draining your energy when everything you have tried is not working and staying in this cycle is dragging you... deeper, then you have a choice to make. That choice is not IF you should make a change, it is HOW. Life is less about what happens to us, than how we interpret it. Giving up implies self-judgment. You tried, you couldn't make it work, you gave up. Not empowering. Letting go, on the other hand, implies that you have made a choice to free up energy for something more aligned. It means integrating lessons learned and preparing yourself for a better state of mind and a better state of being. Perspective matters. The words you tell yourself matter; choose wisely.

Don’t prioritise your looks my friend, they won’t last the journey. Your sense of humour though, will only get better.... Your intuition will grow and expand like a majestic cloak of wisdom. Your ability to choose your battles, will be fine-tuned to perfection. Your capacity for stillness, for living in the moment, will blossom. And your desire to live each and every moment will transcend all other wants. Your instinct for knowing what (and who) is worth your time, will grow and flourish like ivy on a castle wall. Don’t prioritise your looks my friend, they will change forevermore, that pursuit is one of much sadness and disappointment. Prioritise the uniqueness that make you you, and the invisible magnet that draws in other like-minded souls to dance in your orbit. These are the things which will only get better."
