As well as providing them a salary in excess of the Fairtrade average, we run numerous programes to help advance and improve our workers’ lives in Sri Lanka - all part of our community mantra of Prajava. In addition to growing all of our wonderful tea, we’ve also helped our farmers learn to grow other ingredients like cinnamon and turmeric - helping them gain a little more independence, enriching both their personal and working lives.

This is one of our tea-making community from Sri Lanka, or as it’s known in their native language - Prajava. We work with only the finest Organic and Fairtrade farmers, blenders and producers from all over the world to produce our special range of teas. We pay all our farmers a premium on top of the Fairtrade price to make sure they can farm in the most sustainable way possible. It’s all part of being a Prajava.
