Our thoughts control our personal reality. My healing clients share with me that they feel anxious and uneasy, and have trouble sleeping. Some are afraid about the future, and others report feeling wired or on edge all the time. Why is this happening and what can we do about it? People are naturally tapping into the energy of the collective consciousness in our country right now and these are the feelings being sent out. We need to take back control of how we personally fee...l by connecting within by controlling what we think. Take blocks of time (15 min) and sit in silence; breathe deeply and connect with your body. Ask each body part how it is feeling. Disconnect from the noise of social media and the news for an hour, an evening, or a day. Tap into a memory that brings thoughts of joy and let that smile come out again. Start a Gratitude Journal each day, write down 3 things you are grateful for in your life. Spend time in nature take a walk every day or simply sit in the grass outdoors. Being in nature grounds us, it reconnects our root chakra to the earth for support. Earth is nourishing and supportive. By reconnecting with your body, with your thoughts, you gain back control. If some news enters your environment and shakes you, then stop, breathe deeply, and repeat to yourself, I am safe. I am loved. I am okay. The thought for today is to take back control of how you feel. Do not let the fear of others determine how you personally feel right now. The world has been turned upside down, but if you reconnect with your inner compass, you will be guided to that safe space within that comforts and reassures you that you are okay. I would like to share a message with you that I heard from Aero as channeled by Janet Whitener: There is a lot generating fear in our world today politics, a worldwide virus pandemic, and personal and global financial situations. Remember that fear is a CHOICE. Each time you choose fear, you add it to the vibration in your body. Others around us are choosing fear, so people naturally succumb to it, but then you feed fear with more fear from others around you. However, you d...on’t have to feel this way! Stop and tune into your awareness. Do you want the fear? Most people don’t. We want peace, reassurance, to know that everything is going to be okay. You choose what to feel, each day and in each moment. You are the one who chose fear and all the unrest and discomfort that it brought to you. Now, make a different choice choose to trust. How do you do that? Do you trust the sun will come up tomorrow? Do you trust the people who love you today are going to love you tomorrow? This is the feeling you want to connect with, and it changes the emotional vibration of your body by choosing to trust, you push out the emotion of fear. Chose Hope, in addition to Trust. Choose Gratitude, as well. Now you are changing your vibration into a much more positive one! Feel the calm now coming into your awareness. My clients often ask me how they can reset, or calm the world around them. The answer is to meditate daily. Start with 15 minutes a day in stillness. Focus on your breath, focus within. Listen to the impulses and messages from your body. Close the outside world and focus on what is within you. Do this every day and after a short while you will begin to receive the benefits.

Also, being involved in the creative process of making art allows you to hold a positive mental state and this effect is healing for the soul. The artistic experience allows expression to come forward, which releases stress, promotes the feeling of joy, and improves e...motional well-being. I can show you how to expand your inner gifts for creative expression during a guided, hands-on workshop. I will demonstrate an artistic technique and then allow you to create your own to your heart’s desire. Let go of any limiting beliefs you may have about how creative or artistic you are! You will use anything but a brush to create dramatic effects in artworks. The process is therapeutic, and you will leave the workshop with multiple pieces of art that contain the energies that you specifically call forward by intention. The importance of this process is that even the smallest piece of art will increase the vibrational frequency of the space in which it is displayed.
