In 2015 Governor Jerry Brown signed The Clean Energy and Pollution Act of 2015 (SB 350, De León) increasing California's RPS requirements to 50% by December 31, 2030. The California Public Utilities Commission just released their annual report, and CA may reach that goal50% of electricity retail sales from renewable energyahead of schedule. 10 years ahead of schedule, in fact!
