For our Valentine’s Day present to parents, our students decorated cardboard hearts with paint (in the color of their choice) and then some of them added crushed seashells on top. On the back we wrote their dictated messages of love to their parents. This one is Ronan’s for us. I am so happy to be teaching at a preschool where a heart can be any color at all

What do building blocks and life have in common? Well, a great many things actually, but first and foremost: it’s all about achieving balance!

Spring is getting closer! Punxsutawney Phil said it would be early so our little greenies got started on seedlings today. We are loading our garden with future snack foods for our students. In a few months, we should have snap peas, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, carrots and watermelon getting ready for the picking. And of course all of the wonderful fruit that our deciduous trees will start to set soon.
