The grounds are still open for self guided tours and we have a fun family elf hunt game you can play while you enjoy the history and the beautiful fall colors.

The Nisenan lived in Northern California, between the Sacramento River to the west and the Sierra Mountains to the east. The southern reach went to about Cosumnes River but north of Elk Grove and the Meadowview and Pocket regions of Sacramento, and the northern reach somewhere between the northern fork of the Yuba River and the southern fork of the Feather River. We’ll go trick-or-treating virtually and hear ghost stories from Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, go Batty about Bats at Gaviota State Park, join Monterey State Historic Park and explore traditions around Dia de Los Muertos, and much more!
