Making a difference in someone's life or giving a great experience is why I coach. 2 practice sessions and 2 games with Kaleb who guested with us from Hawaii. We have finally returned home to Hawaii and Kaleb has had such a memorable summer. He still talks about you and the Sand and Surf team and how playing with you was the highlight of his month long summer in Southern California. His soccer IQ, leadership, and love for the game has grown so much in this short time and we ...are forever grateful for meeting up with you. With that said, we would love it if you were to keep Kaleb in mind if you ever need a player to fill in. Though we may not be able to make it to SoCal frequently, Kaleb would love to continue competing and playing when the opportunity arises. Though the time Kaleb spent under your coaching was short, he did say he learned a lot about the game, about it not always being about winning but being about learning, growing, and understanding the game of soccer. He also commended you on your intensity and the fundamentals you taught. I know he will take these lessons wherever he goes and he realizes it goes beyond the soccer Also, thank you so much for your kind words about Kaleb. As a parent, hearing those types of things about your child means the world. As parents that's all we can hope of our children and to know that people recognize that of them, is truly the best feeling in the world. Good luck on your upcoming season!
