Perspective // Wow! What a year we’ve had. As 2020 comes to a close, I look back and see so much pain, sorrow, loss, change, heartache, anxiety, fear I recognize the wide variety of feelings everyone has had, and while some might see that this has been divisive, I’m not sure if there’s anything greater in our lifetime that has united us more. We’ve all had different experiences, we’ve all suffered in different ways, but the only way we’ve gotten through it, is with each oth...er. So, thank you to those who have walked with our family, who have supported us, leaned on us, cried with us, freaked out with us, encouraged us, prayed with us, visited us, and chose to stand with us in a time that was so unsure and unsettling. I’m grateful to have shared our lives with so many people, no matter the circumstances. If I’ve learned anything this year, it’s that people matter, and God cares. There was no road map to this year, no expectations, no right way. But I know that God just wants us to seek Him in all things. Looking to Him has been our only hope this year. He got us through, and will continue to lead us into the new year, whatever it may hold.
