In the name of #KeepingRCFun, we decided to show some love to our scale garage. We have always wanted a giant neon sign for the shop, so we made one! It's actually very easy. We started with some EL wire (Electroluminescent wire), we picked green for obvious reasons, but it is available in many colors. We took an Element RC pit mat and cut out the logo area. We then drilled small holes around the perimeter of each letter and weaved the wire in and out, from front to back. We then used some thin wire to secure the EL down and hold the letter shapes. Once complete, we built a little box out of styrene and BAM, NEON SIGN! #ElementRC #JourneyTheElements #WeAreAE #KeepingRCFun
