Need something to keep yourself and your loved ones entertained during this new norm of social distancing? Check out the San Diego Zoo Cams! Live cameras are set-up all over the park, so you can select the animal you would like to see depending on which ones are your favorite. Make it part of your routine to check the live cameras throughout the day and see what they are doing in the morning, afternoon, and evening. https://animals.sandiegozoo.org/live-cams

We were touched by this heartwarming review of HCA from one of our past clients' daughter: "The caregivers from Home Care Assistance gave my dad the best care one could possibly hope for, seven days a week for over three years. Even up to the age of 103, my dad was able to live in his own home, on his terms, safely, comfortably and with dignity. This was possible only due to the high standard of care he received from his wonderful caregivers and the coordination provided by the HCA staff." We're so glad we could make sure our client could spend his days in the home he loved.

April is Stress Awareness Month. What can you and your loved ones do for stress awareness month? 1. Talk about stress and its effects, and work together to reduce the stigma around talking about stress. 2. Share your coping mechanisms, it could benefit someone you care about. 3. Be nice to anyone who is stressed out, we all experience it so treat others that are stressed with compassion. 4. Look after yourself, take time out of each day to do something that you enjoy. Don't forget to eat well and exercise!

Home Care Assistance received a touching testimonial from a daughter of a client: "Home Care Assistance caregivers have done a phenomenal job for our family. Mom wanted to stay home and we just could not manage her care alone due to our work and families. If it weren't for Home Care Assistance, it would have been impossible for us to keep Mom home. She really enjoys the company of her caregiver and is living life again. Thank you Home Care Assistance for all what you have done for us. We highly recommend them to anyone who needs high quality care for an elderly loved one." We're so glad we can help seniors thrive at home!

Home Care Assistance teams across the country are working around-the-clock to ensure that seniors are stocked up with activities to keep them engaged and entertained during this time of social distancing. Our Grand Strand team in South Carolina brought "Shelter-in-Place" goodies to their community partners! At this time, it is especially important to help others when we can, and to support our community as a whole. Thank you, Grand Strand team, for all your help and love!
