Today, El Centro Firefighters assisted in efforts to contain COVID-19 in Imperial County. Firefighters helped at the Mass Vaccination Clinic at Imperial Valley College by monitoring patients who received the vaccine.

Road Closure of North 12th Street, starting from Bradshaw Avenue to El Dorado Avenue EL CENTRO, Calif. North and South bound traffic along N. 12th Street, from Bradshaw Avenue to El Dorado Avenue, will be closed to through traffic from Thursday, October 22, 2020 from 7:00 am, to Friday, October 23, 2020 at 5:00 pm. Traffic wishing to go northbound and southbound along N. 12th Street will have to use alternate routes, such as N. 8th St.... This proposed work is for the installation of utilities crossing N. 12th Street, and should only take 2 working days. So to avoid the inconvenience, it is recommended to use alternative routes. Residents along N. 12 Street will be provided ingress/egress to their properties at all times. Please be cautious and follow all traffic control and detour signage. Thank you for your patience.
