Crazy hat day in the Caterpillar Class!

This week in the Caterpillar class they learned about how to eat healthy foods, long vowels, simple subtraction, practicing sight words, numbers 1-60, how to make a sentence and Black History Month.

This week in the Panda Classroom- our main topic was living things with a focus on plants. We talked about what plants need to grow and how useful they are by providing us with fruits and vegetables. Kids also learned the names of various beans, such as black, red, pinto and black-eyed peas, and had a fun project with them. Lastly, we experimented with germinating beans in a moist paper towel. We will plant the bean sprouts in a few weeks so that the kids can see the entire life cycle; from seed to the plant.
