NOVEMBER 2017 NEW LISTINGS in the Contra Costa region were down -59.9 percent for detached homes and down -39.1 for attached properties month over month. PENDING SALES decreased -18.4 percent for single-family homes and decreased -18.8 percent for townhouse-condo properties month over month. THE MEDIAN SALES PRICE increased 5.1 percent to $975,000 for detached homes and increased 9.8 percent to $559,900 percent for attached properties compared to the prior month. THE MONTHLY SUPPLY OF HOUSING decreased -52.9 percent for single-family units and decreased -26.3 percent for townhouse-condo units compared to the prior month.
